PoorXcuse started in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs in 1994. Typically as a garage party band playing a handful of originals and some select covers. There has been several line up changes over the years. In 2006 Chris, Jeff and Blair recorded the bands first album “Noisy Neighbour” and then began playing their raw edged foot stomping riffs in the pubs and bars around Melbourne and their local haunts in the hills. The band postponed recording their second album to rebuild the studio and after much hard work the band commenced recording their second album “In the Nude” in 2013, released in 2015. With an ever growing back catalogue of unrecorded songs the band went straight back into the studio upgrading everything from instruments,microphones,computers etc..to record our third album "cutfingers blues" The band released "cutfingers blues " in 2018 also shooting their first video clip for the single " Miss you babe" In 2019 poorXcuse went back into the studio to start recording their 4th album Habitual Creatures although were delayed with the onset of the covid worldwide pandemic in 2020 the 4th album Habitual Creatures with the single Goosebumps released in late 2023 online CD's will be available in 2024
